Tunnels will take at least half a day to complete Goblin tunnelers will start digging a tunnel when they arrive If a goblin raider lives and returns without stealing any items, they will bring goblin tunneler on their next raid When all raiders have left or died, other goblins will try to leave Other goblins and ogres will escort raiders Goblin raiders attempt to steal items and leave the map with them However, it looks like RoboBob has settled on a bit of a ‘artificial’ (imo) compromise: It seems like a constant stream of tunneler attacks would progressively transform your underground environment into swiss cheese. I’ve often wondered whether I’d like to see tunnelers in Dwarf Fortress or Gnomoria (Gnomoria has ‘Mants’ after all, and ants love digging), but I’ve also wondered whether it would create too much of a fort-breaking hassle. The game is going to change from just walling out and controlling invaders.
